Draw Bias
Widely considered one of the fairest tracks in Britain. No significant draw bias over most distances thanks to the wide galloping circuit. The straight 5f and 6f races can show a slight high-draw edge in big fields.
Going & Ground
Good to firm is the standard: the Knavesmire has excellent drainage. Soft can occur in autumn and at the Ebor meeting if there’s been heavy rain. Long-striding gallopers thrive here.
