About The Gallop
The Gallop is an independent UK and Irish horse racing tips service. Members get our tips with a price and a stake, before the off, and every tip we've ever posted to members is published on this site with its result, winners and losers.
What members get
- Our tips on race days, mostly in the morning from about 8am. Usually one to four a day, each with a price and a stake in points.
- Each-way terms spelt out, and stakes of up to 5 points. Some days there's nothing worth backing, and then there's no bet.
- Tips in our private Telegram group the moment they're posted, and by email too. Not on Telegram? You can have them by email instead, from your members area.
- The full results record, updated after every race.
How we pick a bet
Form and ratings first, then the trip, the ground and the price. You can see the way we think in our free big-race previews, where we set out our view on every race on the card and say afterwards how it went, right or wrong.
How the record is kept
Every priced tip posted to members since 15 October 2025 is on the results page, settled against the official result at the advised price with best odds guaranteed. Losers stay on the record, and every month has its own page.
Since 6 October 2026, every tip has also gone to the Smart Betting Club, an independent tipster-proofing service, the moment it's posted. Bets before then are our own record. The transparency report takes the whole record apart: by price, by bet type, by month, the best and worst courses, the bad runs, and what the figure would be at advised prices only.
What members say
I've known Alex for years, long before The Gallop had a website, so I've seen how he goes about it up close. He does the work: form, ratings, the trip, the ground, and he won't put a bet up just for the sake of it. Some days there's nothing, and I'd rather that than being given something to fill a gap.
The tips come through in the morning with the price and the stake, so there's time to get on at the price he gives. My favourite was Treble Bass at Salisbury on 1 October: advised at 13/2 each way, it won at 12/1, and best odds guaranteed paid the bigger price. Days like that are great, but there are losing runs too, and every one of those losers is on the results page for anyone to check. That's what I trust most about it: nothing gets hidden.

The Gallop Premium is £25 a month or £250 a year (two months free). Checkout is by Stripe, your Telegram invite comes as soon as you've paid, and you can cancel any time with no minimum term.
