Our record, taken apart
Every tip we've given since 15 Oct 2025, settled against the official result. This page breaks it down the way a sceptical punter would: with and without best odds guaranteed, by price, by bet type, by month and by course, plus the losing runs and the worst drawdown. Nothing is left out, and it all updates itself.
The two figures, and why they differ
We settle every bet at the advised price, or the starting price (SP) if that was bigger. That's how bookmakers offering best odds guaranteed (BOG) pay out. On that basis the record is +220.15 points, a +10.3% return on stakes.
Many punters don't get BOG, because some bookmakers restrict it or the account doesn't have it. At the advised price only, the record is +94.56 points, a +4.4% return. The difference, +125.6 points, comes from 215 bets where SP was bigger than our price. If you can't get BOG, the second figure is the one to judge us on.
Our advised price was bigger than SP on 55% of 610 priced bets. Beating the starting price more often than not is one of the better signs that tips are finding value, rather than just catching a lucky run.
How prices and results are recorded
- Tips are posted to members in Telegram before the off, each with a price and a stake in points.
- Advised price: the best price on Oddschecker at the time of posting. Where only one bookmaker has the top price, we advise the price available with most bookmakers.
- Results come from official Sporting Life result pages. Each-way bets are settled to standard UK place terms, and Rule 4 deductions are applied where Sporting Life records them.
- From October 2026 every tip is sent to the Smart Betting Club for independent proofing as it's posted. Everything before that is our own record, not independently proofed.
- Every bet is on the results page and in a downloadable spreadsheet, losers included.

- Biggest drawdown: −102.2 points from a peak on 23 Mar 2026 to the low on 19 May 2026.
- Worst day: −17.5 points on 26 Aug 2026. Best day: +32.5 points on 17 Feb 2026.
- Biggest single win: Treble Bass, 5.25 Salisbury on 1 Oct 2026, +21.60 points.

What we don't claim
We don't claim to be verified or approved by anyone. Past results don't guarantee future profit, and no tipster can promise winners. 780 bets is a decent sample, but it isn't long enough to prove an edge beyond doubt, which is why we now proof every tip independently and publish both figures.
