Staking in points

Our tips come with a stake in points, from half a point to several points, and each-way stakes are per part, so 1.5pts each way is 3 points in total. Read more in our staking guide.

Every tip we've given since October 2025 adds up to +226.5 points on our results page. The calculator shows what that would be at your point size. Past results don't guarantee future profit.

Questions

What is a point?

A point is a fixed share of your betting bank, so you bet the same proportion whatever happens. Tipsters advise stakes in points so the advice works for any size of bank.

How many points should my bank be?

Many punters use 100 points. A bigger bank in points means smaller bets and more room for losing runs, which every tipster has.

Should I change my point size as my bank changes?

Some people recalculate monthly so the point stays a fixed share of the bank; others keep it level. Either way, decide in advance and stick to it.
